Flowers of the zodiac and their symbolic meanings

How YOU can win over your partner with the perfect flower based on their star sign – including showy sunflowers for outgoing Leos and romantic carnations for loveable Sagittarians

It can be difficult to know which flowers to choose to impress your partner – but some florists claim the answer is in the stars.

Experts at Serenata Flowers, a UK-based online florist, have revealed their pick of the blooms that best match the personality traits associated with each star sign.

Those who are born under the sensitive sign of cancer, for example, might be drawn to the delicacy of a white rose, while an outgoing Leo will see their own vibrant personality reflected in the strength of a showy yellow sunflower.

Lucia Polla, of Serenata Flowers explained: ‘Personalising gifts for friends and family can prove difficult, so a bouquet of flowers that corresponds to a loved one‘s Zodiac is sure to put a smile on their face.‘

‘Knowing that thought went into selecting stems specifically for them will definitely make them feel special and might make them feel more in touch with the stars.‘
